Service Description

A Dance Trapeze class blends elements of aerial arts and expressive movement, allowing students to explore strength, grace, and creativity while performing on a suspended trapeze bar meets at the top of a rigging point to allow for spinning and more movement. In this class, students learn how to safely mount, balance, and transition through poses on a single-point or static trapeze. Movements combine dance-inspired choreography with foundational aerial skills such as hangs, spins, beats, and fluid transitions. Emphasis is placed on body awareness, musicality, flexibility, and artistic expression. Participants will: Build upper body and core strength Improve coordination and balance Develop flexibility and clean lines Learn short choreographed sequences Practice smooth transitions between poses Classes typically begin with a ground-based warm-up and conditioning, followed by skill progressions in the air, and conclude with guided choreography or creative exploration. Dance Trapeze is suitable for adventurous beginners through experienced aerialists, with progressions offered to meet different skill levels. No prior experience is required unless specified.
